This one is WAY more challenging than it looks – trust me!
Truth be told, as I went to film this video last week – my intention was to use a 5-lb Medicine Ball, instead my usual 8-pounder. I wanted to actually smile during the workout and show you how much fun we could have working out together!
Medicine Balls must have arms and legs. Clearly, Mr. & Mrs. 5 and 8-pounder linked hands and walked off into the sunset together, never to be seen again. Ensuring that they had the last laugh, they left me with their friend….. 10-pounder. Always the first to say, “That’s fine – I can do it”, I grabbed the heavy ball and started the video.
If I turned the music down, no joke you’d hear me grunting and groaning all the way through. “Ugh!” “Aaahhh!” Lol – so much for being a badass. It was hard, especially as we got to the end of the First Round. But you know what?
be able to smile through a butt-kicking workout
like a Stepford Wife serving cookies and punch at
a Tupperware party. I’m just sayin’.

the 8-pound if and only if you feel strong enough and
can maintain good form! If your form is compromised, drop
back down to the 5. That’s how you get stronger!
+ ADVANCED Levels: 8-pound and 10-pound Medicine Ball.
Even then, I’d recommend having an 8-pound on hand for
this particular workout, due to the non-stop format and
the difficulty level of some of the exercises.

Just Starting Out? Excellent!! Drop the ball….
First – welcome! It can be hard commit to working out, especially if it hasn’t been an on-going part of your life in the past. If you’re reading this – you are in it to win it! Nice job π
I would recommend following along without a ball, to start. It’s more important to get your form correct and focus on feeling the moves. The workout itself will be challenging enough without a ball – don’t worry! As you begin to feel more comfortable – incorporate a 5-pound Medicine Ball.
