1¼quarts apple cider, low or no-sugar added (40-oz)
3tbspfirmly packed light-brown sugar
1tspground allspice
½tspground ginger
¼tspground cloves
¼tspnutmeg, fresh grated
7whole cinnamon sticks, (6 sticks for garnish)
⅛tspkosher salt
½cup Brandy
Light Whipped Cream if you like!
Instructions
In a medium saucepan, whisk together cider, sugar, spices and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.
Remove from heat and pour in brandy. Strain into a pitcher; discard used cinnamon stick. Pour into mugs. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, dust with a little cinnamon and garnish with a cinnamon stick. Happy Holidays!!
