Skinny Apple-Pie Spiced Cider with Brandy

Ingredients
- 1¼ quarts apple cider, low or no-sugar added (40-oz)
- 3 tbsp firmly packed light-brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground allspice
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- ¼ tsp nutmeg, fresh grated
- 7 whole cinnamon sticks, (6 sticks for garnish)
- ⅛ tsp kosher salt
- ½ cup Brandy
- Light Whipped Cream if you like!
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together cider, sugar, spices and salt. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat.
- Remove from heat and pour in brandy. Strain into a pitcher; discard used cinnamon stick. Pour into mugs. Top with a dollop of whipped cream, dust with a little cinnamon and garnish with a cinnamon stick. Happy Holidays!!
