Easy Recipes & A 20-Min Workout
For a Feel-Good 4th!
I know – this year, the 4th is going to be a lot different for most of us! Any other year, the 4th is all about going to friends homes for BBQ’s where there are lots of people, great food and umm…..cocktails ;-). This year, not so much – right? Instead, we’re going down to my parents house and just celebrating the day with our family – which I love doing anyway, so….bonus!
Simple, Delicious & Fast
My dad will BBQ burgers, my sister’s always in charge of cocktails, lol – and mom put me in charge of bringing “something healthy,” obvi. Here’s the deal….. even though I like to cook – I definitely do not like spending hours in the kitchen with fussy, time-consuming recipes a mile long!
That’s why I love, love, LOVE the 2 Recipes I’m about to share with you! They’re fast & simple to make – and most importantly….super delicious and energizing!
- 7-Ingredient Watermelon, Feta & Fresh Mint salad with Lime Vinaigrette: It will literally take less than 10-minutes to make, plus it’s gorgeous & elegant. Fresh limes, mint and juicy watermelon just scream Summer!!
- Peanut-Butter Strawberry Energy Bars: Made with Chickpeas & unsweetened Peanut-Butter, then just layered with fresh strawberries or sugar-free strawberry jam if you prefer – they’re a sweet-treat that won’t leave you with that schlumpy sugar-rush.
