A 1-Hour Class in Just 40-Minutes. It’s About Efficiency!
If you’ve never taken the super popular Yoga Sculpt class – you’re in for a treat. These full-body workout classes combine traditional yoga moves in a heated room with hand-held weights and cardio. You normally start in child’s pose and go through a typical yoga flow in order to warm-up, then begin incorporating weights.
The meat of class involves Weight-work and Cardio in order to Sculpt muscles and burn fat. Typical exercises may include things like bicep curls, tricep kick-backs, lunges with overhead press, squats and then into cardio. Think mountain climbers, plank jacks, burpees, jumping jacks etc. We like that!
Why 40-minutes and not a full hour?
In short, because I’ve found that a lot of instructors waste time doing WAY too long of a warm-up (we’re talking 20-minutes) and it’s really annoying. The Cardio & Sculpt portion of the class is usually 30-minutes, with a 10-minute cool down. Still too long. By the time I’m in a Yoga Sculpt class – I want a kick ass workout, not 30-minutes of slow Yoga with some weights and cardio.
SO – I’ve created my own version the way I like it, and hope you will too! It’s just enough of a warm-up to get you going, then smack into intense weights & cardio, followed by a cool down to close the loop and leave you feeling amazing. Cutting out the excessive yoga-portion means we’re getting a totally efficient & effective workout in 40-minutes vs 1-hour!
The Format:
+ A 5-minute Yoga-Flow to warm up and center
+ 30-minutes of intense Sculpting with hand-held weighs and Cardio to burn fat.
+ A 5-minute Stretch, cool-down and Savasana to leave you feeling amazing!

What to Eat After Your Work-out
After working out, it’s imperative to re-fuel your body with protein. Protein helps to rebuild the microscopic tears in our muscles that occur during the workout. This is how we build muscle and get that lean, defined look!
Try my brand new Cherry Protein Smoothie – it’s deelish, full of protein, good fats and a handful of greens which help eliminate bloating and are great for glowing skin.
